  33. For one thing, certain printer manufacturers, such as HP, caution against using 
  34. printer switches while the power is on.

  36. But the main reason not to use a switch, is because the dongle is supposed to be a 
  37. pass-thru device, and Newtek says it should work. No place in the documentation is 
  38. there a warning that some products might be incompatible with the dongle, nor is 
  39. there a trouble-shooting section that addresses that problem.

  41. On the Amiga, Newtek at least gave you the option of allowing them to steal your 
  42. computer for Toaster/Flyer/Lightwave use, if you had no other use for it. In the 
  43. PC world, all we get is a bunch of waving and pointing fingers, saying it's 
  44. somebody elses fault, and as usual, the user pays in lost productivity.
